Staff Shooter Shoot-Off - Win a new Concept C32

Postby concept_archer » Wed Jun 02, 2010 5:05 pm

Concept Archery proudly announces their first ever Staff Shooter Contest. The top staff shooter will be awarded with a brand new C32 (http://conceptarchery.com/c32.html) set to specs of his/her choice.

Note Concept Archery is accepting staff shooters and no obligations are required other than shooting a Concept bow. http://conceptarchery.com/images/pdfs/staff_shooters_application.pdf

The contest is based on a point system:

20-29 shooters in your class: 1st place = 1 point, 2nd and 3rd placement = 0.5 points
30-74 shooters in your class: 1st place = 2 points, 2nd and 3rd place = 1 point
75+ shooters in your class (local or state shoot): 1st place = 4 points, 2nd place = 3 points, 3rd place = 2 points
National shoot: 1st place = 5 points, 2nd place = 4 points, 3rd place = 3 points

The contest is valid from June 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010.
All contestants must post their scores in this forum thread.

The post must report:
Staff Shooters name:
Date of Shoot:
Hosted By:
Location:
Shooting Class:
Score and Placement:

Rules:
- Contestant must shoot a Concept Archery bow to qualify
- Minimum of 20 shooters to qualify for points
- The above point system is by the number of shooters in your class, not the number of shooters total at the event - the number of shooters you were up against.
- Verification may be required such as a website posting of the results, a photo of the trophy, contact of a witness, etc.
- Anyone who reports a false score will be disqualified from the Shoot-Off and they will loose their Concept Archery Staff Shooter status.
- The top shooter will be awarded a new Concept C32 bow set to their draw length and desired draw weight. The bow offered will be in Next G1 camouflage unless the winner is willing to pay additional costs for competition colors (any choice of colors - riser, limbs, string and cable). The C32 is only available in right hand.
- Concept Archery reserves the right to cancel this contest at any time.

Any suggestions, comments, or concerns please pm me.

Good luck

A Concept Bowfishing Shoot would be cool - we were going to have a contest for the biggest pig shot if GE, maybe we'll have to make it a fish.

Matthew Allen takes bronze in a National Shoot:

Concept Archery podiumed at 2010 JOAD Nationals.

Matthew, shooting The Believer, won Bronze Medal in Junior Mens Team.

Matthew shoots the Olympic Rounds (Eliminations) Sunday and broke the top 10 ranking in the Individual Qualification rounds (142 arrows over 2 days of shooting).

If Matthew had A/C/G or X10 arrows instead of Goldtip and Easton slims he would be up at least 75-100 points. He also shot the 70m with a pin sight and not a scope so it matters but The Believer is, in a word, awesome. During the 14mph winds, Matthew never had to "let down" he just held until the gust passed while others had to let down time and again.

So far many of our staff shooters have been silent, and quite a few who were previously active have been tied up with work or family obligations and such is life.

So far Marcus Waterworth is leading with 4 points, followed by Matt Allen with 3 points. Nice shooting by both of you and best of luck in upcoming tournaments.

A little over 2 months to go.

God bless.

Marcus W. Waterworth

a few more places to post on here

8-1-10 and 8-8-10

the first place finish had 20 some shooters, the two third places finishes had between 30-40 shooters

locations were: 4b archery newfolden mn, and TRFAC thief river falls mn

Freestyle class

1st place Dakota freestyle tournament- first ever first place finish in a dakota tournament!....trfac
3rd place marked 3d tournament 142 out of 150...trfac
3rd place unmarked 3d tournament 371 out of 400....4b archery

I had a blast of a 3d season once again, shooting with my concept always seems to give me the edge I need...the crew of guys that I shoot with always get frusturated, becuase when the arrows are close, mine always seem to fall within the 10 ring while more often than not they are just outside of it the 10 ring....I always tell them they need to switch to a concept!...now my tournament shooting is over until hunting subsides and my favorite season starts up once again....spots shooting.

take care everyone, and good luck on the tournament trail
