video clip ideas

Postby marcus waterworth » Thu Jun 03, 2010 6:06 pm

hello all,

Me and a few of my archery buddies decided this year to slow down on the 3d tournament trail, and focus on spot shooting as we hope to make an apperance at vegas and the Iowa Pro-am as well as our latest venture of putting together some short archery videos.

After years of trying to find some interesting online videos to pass the time with, I simply decided that watching a guy with a recurve shoot at a homade target at 20 yards for 5 minutes just wasnt enough for me. The videos will be short and we have alot of the material video taped already (mostly just form, goodshots from long distances, tight groups, and random blurbs of entertainment to keep people entertained, along with some music)

Any ideas of what fellow archers want to see on youtube during a slow day at the office, or during some last minute online searching before bed....please let me know, so we can try get some more stuff on film before we shift gears into the editing room.

thanks all,

Marcus W. Waterworth

BLOOPERS! The most boring videos I have ever seen was able to be watchable by the use of peoples goof ups. Everybody loves a good laugh, and a blooper is just that.

just a suggestion: good close up, slow and focused technical videos are always a good way to learn - often better than reading. tech tips. competition bows, sights, long sights, magnified glass - lots of thing hunters may not know about but curious maybe about comp. shooting. ideas?
